Description
The Marquis de Carabas, from the comic version of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere by Mike Carey and Glenn Fabry.
Like the comic version of Door, this wasn't exactly how I pictured the Marquis when I read the novel. Kind of expected him to have more facial features than this. But as I read the comic, this design grew on me. And besides, who could dislike any version of de Carabas?
Richard Mayhew was in the original version of this picture, but I cut him out because he didn't look right. I may make another attempt after I finish with my favorite characters... Croup and Vandemar are next!

I hate the comic. It could have been a fantasic companion piece, but instead it was just dumbed down and streamlined. The characters just don't look right, and all the humour is gone.
